<p>The beginning of the year is always an exciting time. During the month of January, resolutions and grand plans for the year ahead flow with ease. I have an exercise that I like to go through this time of year to help create the best year possible. This process will greatly assist you in seeing those resolutions become reality and grand plans become actionable baby steps. I have been practicing this <em><strong>New Year Process</strong></em> for a few years and its fantastic how well it works, so I wanted to share it with you. The process is powerful, and I can assure you its fun too!</p>

<p>This is fancy formula I use for the <em><strong>New Year Process</strong></em>.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Step 1</span>: Reflect back on what you were grateful for in 2011. Write down what you appreicated. What did you learn? What surprised you? What did you gain? What did you lose?</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Step 2</span>: Breath in deep, bringing yourself into the present moment. Look at the categories below and decide which ones really resonate with you. What do you want to change in your life? What are you ready to take action on? What area or category needs the most attention for you to live in balance? What makes you happy or would make you happier?</p>

<li>Contributions</li>
<li>Emotions</li>
<li>Family</li>
<li>Friendship</li>
<li>Food</li>
<li>Finances</li>
<li>Fitness</li>
<li>Home Environment</li>
<li>Habits</li>
<li>Leisure</li>

<li>Love</li>
<li>Physical Health</li>
<li>Spiritual Life</li>
<li>Time</li>
<li>Travel</li>
<li>Work</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Step 3</span>: This is the juicy good part! After picking the categories you really want to improve &#8211; write down in your journal what you want to create in your life during 2012. Remove all limits on yourself and think about what really makes you happy and light your inner fire.  Use a fresh new page in your journal (or new sheet of paper) for each category. Write out your ideal life so that it&#8217;s sensory specific; how it looks, feels, tastes, and sounds. I would recommend starting with the top 5 categories you would like to focus on in 2012 and take your time with this. You don&#8217;t have to write everything out in one sitting. The process is for you to create your goals with joy&#8230;so enjoy it!</p>

In sharing your goals and dreams, it holds you accountable and brings light to that inner fire! Don&#8217;t just think about what you want this year&#8230;.GO DO IT!!</p>

<p><em><strong>Vegan Cashew Cheese Fondue</strong></em></p>
<p><strong>Makes  8 servings</strong><strong><em> </em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>Ingredients: </em></strong></p>
<p>1 c. cashew pieces</p>
<p>¼ c. pine nuts</p>
<p>1 carrot</p>
<p>½ red bell pepper</p>
<p>3 tbsp nutritional yeast</p>
<p>2 tbsp agar agar <strong> </strong></p>
<p>4 or more thsp water</p>
<p>Juice of ½ lemon</p>
<p>1 c water</p>
<p>1/4 tsp sea salt</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Mix agar agar with 4 tbsp of water</li>
<li>Toss everything in blender</li>
<li>Pour into serving bowl and enjoy with fresh veggies such as carrots, broccoli and sugar peas. The longer this recipe sits, the thicker it will get. So if you’re looking for a thicker fondue, make it 3 hours before serving.</li>

I am grateful to share this personal story with you as it has lead to a major improvement in my health.</p>
<p style="font-size: 18px; color: #990000;">I lost those 30 pounds of stubborn excess weight and founded</p>
<p style="font-size: 18px; color: #990000;">Inspire Balanced Wellness after getting this message.</p>
<p><em><strong>You are the creator of your life, and your choices determine your health &amp; happiness. </strong></em><br />
This may seem like an obvious statement to you, or maybe it is brand new&#8230;</p>
<p>Gratitude is like a good health meter.</p>
<p>Making choices that support our growth in a positive way ~ leads to happy feelings.<br />
And the opposite is true. Making bad decisions will ultimately lead to bad feelings.<br />
As you read on and watch the video please put all personal judgements aside.<br />
Because, I had to learn this simple lesson the hard way and was hurt.</p>
<p>Hopefully, you can learn from my life lessons and avoid some pain <img src='http://www.bewellwithsue.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

Looking back, I am grateful for the mistake and having got the message.<br />
That is what allows for massive personal growth and inner healing.</p>
<p>Simplified into 3 steps :<br />
1. Being able to forgive yourself and get the message,<br />
2. Make good decisions and take new actions,<br />
3. Heal and move on with grace &#8216;n gratitude.</p>
<p>Of course,  it DOES NOT seem as easy as 1, 2 3 when you are going through a major change in your life.<br />
At the time of a crisis, it is just that. A meltdown period to mourn, learn and rebuild.</p>
<p>I shot some emotional video footage for ya in the hot Soronan Desert of Mexico getting into the juicy detail of this story.</p>
<p>Maybe the 120 degree heat will warm you up, and you&#8217;ll feel so fired up you will want to quit your job! LOL&#8230;</p>
<p>If the outside temperatures don&#8217;t warm you up, maybe the story will warm your soul to see how I turned</p>

<p>I&#8217;m tired and feel like cuddling up with a blanket or sitting by the fire. However, before I rest I want to share these recipes I made today. Wonderful creations that nourish the body! Yum!! Love the fresh juice and variety of what you can create at home. So fresh and delicious and maximum nutrition!</p>

<p>During Day 2 of the Juice Feast the juice is flowing. Here are some juice recipes that were served up today. This first recipe was filmed in my bath robe during the morning. Toward the end the video my father makes a guest appearance and tries the green juice.</p>

<li>½ bunch dandelion greens</li>
<li>5 stalks of celery</li>
<li>1 apple</li>
<li>1 beet (golden or red)</li>

<p>Blend in Vitamix:</p>
<ul>
<li>2 tomatoes</li>
<li>1 cucumber</li>
<li>1 ½ c spinach</li>
<li>2 garlic cloves</li>
<li>1 tsp or less bragg’s amino acids</li>
<li>Pinch of sea salt</li>
</ul>
<p>Strain with nut milk bag into bowl. Enjoy the green juice!</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Orange Sunrise</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>4 oranges</li>
<li>6 carrots</li>
<li>2 apples</li>
</ul>

<p>It is best to juice the oranges with a citrus juicer and the carrots and apples with a single agar juicer. Mix together the juices and let the vitamin C and beta carotene flow into your body!</p>

It seems like just yesterday I was shoveling March snow, and now a full spring and summer have passed and we are looking at the fall leaves on the aspen trees. Like the leaves changing color and dropping, shedding old skin to allow for new growth- fall is a time to let go. To let go of old un-serving emotions and un-serving habits that don&#8217;t support the best you.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The beginning of November is a wonderful time to cleanse the body with a 3 day Fall Juice Feast and let go of anything unwanted.</p>
<p style="font-size: 16px; color: #c43a5e; text-align: left;">So let&#8217;s feast together and support each other!</p>

<p style="font-size: 16px; color: #c43a5e; text-align: left;"><em>Fall 3 Day Juice Feast Nov. 4th, 5th and 6th</em></p>
<p style="color: #cc5433; text-align: left;">Intentions:</p>
<p style="color: #cc5433; text-align: left;">Have as much fresh, home-made juice as possible while avoiding solid foods for 3 days, to allow the body to rest, cleanse and detox. It is Fall, so let’s focus on what is in season and how it can help our bodies. Root vegetables for grounding into our true selves and cleansing the liver &amp; Leafy greens for chlorophyll to help cleanse the blood.<br />
Note:This fall juice feast is for you so treat yourself with LOVE AND DO WHAT YOU FEEL IS RIGHT FOR YOU. Do 100% juice and fast completely from food OR add one juice or more a day, whatever you want to do. You are fully responsible for yourself. We will start with the intention of 100% FRESH JUICE for 3 days and intend to inspire others to juice fast too. This is a supportive group event. Recipes will be shared, emotions released, bodies cleaned and excess weight shed.</p>

<p>serves 1-2</p>
<p>mix together:</p>
<p>3/4 cup fresh carrot juice</p>
<p>1 cup fresh orange juice</p>
<p>Steps: 1.Process carrots to make juice in a single ajar juicer. 2.  Use a citrus juicer to make fresh orange juice.</p>
<p>3. Mix it together and enjoy!</p>

<p>Other drinks I had during the juice feast:</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Green Get UP</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>¼ bunch of dandelion greens</li>
<li>¼ head red cabbage</li>
<li>1 lemon (skinned removed)</li>
<li>3 stalks of celery</li>
</ul>
<p>Juice the above ingredients and enjoy!</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Green Machine</span></strong></p>
<p>3 servings</p>
<p>This one is a bit bitter and can clean your machine! Get ready for pure chlorophyll booster on your body!</p>
<ul>
<li>½ bunch leafy kale</li>
<li>½ bunch dinosaur kale</li>
<li>½ bunch parsley</li>
<li>1 cucumber</li>
<li>5 stalks of celery</li>
<li>2 cloves of garlic</li>
</ul>
<p>Juice the above ingredients and enjoy!</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Green Queen</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>½ bunch dandelion greens</li>
<li>5 stalks of celery</li>
<li>1 apple</li>
<li>1 beet (golden or red)</li>
</ul>
<p>Juice the above ingredients and enjoy!</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Royal Red</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2 apples</li>
<li>½ bunch dinosaur kale</li>
<li>1 cucmber</li>
<li>1 beet</li>
</ul>
<p>Juice the above ingredients. Mix with a spoon and add a pinch of salt. Enjoy!</p>

<li>2 heads romaine lettuce</li>

<p>Yeahh! It&#8217;s good. I&#8217;ve had construction workers who eat the Standard American Diet  tell me the salad is awesome and ask for the recipe! To me that means anyone can enjoy sprouts and raw food when make a delicious salad. It&#8217;s easy to make and will last a few days in the fridge for healthy leftovers at lunch time! The Sprouted Live Lentil Salad is great served with crackers.</p>
<p style="font-size: 16px;"><strong><em>Live Sprouted Lentil Salad </em></strong></p>
<p>Serves 4</p>
<p>3 c sprouted lentils</p>
<p>3 stalks celery</p>
<p>½ red bell pepper</p>
<p>1 carrot</p>
<p>¼ medium red onion</p>
<p>½ bunch of parsley</p>
<p>Feta cheese (optional)</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Dressing:</strong></p>
<p>2 tbsp lemon juice</p>
<p>1/3 c olive oil</p>
<p>½ tsp sea salt</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Steps: </strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Sprout lentils! Chop vege’s and parsley. Mix sprouted lentils, carrots, celery, red bell pepper, red onion and parsley in a large bowl</li>
<li>Juice one lemon, 2 tbsp is good for the dressing</li>
<li>In a separate smaller bowl mix lemon juice, olive oil and sea salt with a fork</li>
<li>Pour dressing on salad and mix</li>
<li>Top with feta cheese (optional)</li>
</ol>
